Evidence before diagrams

Why tech analysis briefs should lock observable facts before anyone opens a drawing tool.

Diagrams feel productive. Evidence is what keeps them honest. Start with the question the review must answer, then list facts you can show—timestamps, endpoints, error messages, ownership notes.

If two analysts disagree on a claim, ask what observation would settle it. Unsettled claims stay in the open-risks list.
